The Sabina Primary School in Sanje, Uganda is a place of hope.  It is a place where, despite difficult circumstances, children are full of joy, talent, and optimism.  Full time support for the school is handled by Children of Uganda, a U.S.-based organization.  Narrow Road has been offering supplementary assistance to Sabina since 2006. 

Our support has included: school furniture, shoes, educational supplies, malaria prevention, water storage tankers, poultry houses, and food supplies.

Citizen Camera joined Narrow Road at Sabina in 2009 to conduct workshops for children in video and photography.  The videos at left share some of the stories from this endeavor.

Our support of Sabina in 2011 included assistance with feeding of the children and also the purchase and installation of malaria screens around the school’s dormitories.  We also began sponsoring one young woman, Jessica Asiimwe, who is leaving Sabina and entering Secondary school.  Jessica can be seen in the video at bottom left.  Opportunities to sponsor other children leaving Sabina are being researched now.
